Cult explores Uzbekistan’s rich cultural heritage through two exhibitions at the Museum of Islamic Art. ‘Uzbekistan: Heritage in Motion’ takes us on a journey through centuries of Islamic art, craftsmanship and intellectual traditions, while ‘Ektashif Uzbekistan’ gives a distinctive Qatari perspective, showcasing works by Qatari artists inspired by their experiences through Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara.
Together, the exhibitions highlight how heritage can travel across borders, inspire creativity and create connections between cultures, revealing how looking at another culture can offer new perspectives.
