Around 70 alpacas descend from summer pastures in Switzerland's Bernese Alps, crossing bridges and mountain roads before travelling to their winter farm.
Around 70 alpacas leave their summer pasture in the Bernese Alps and make their way down to Switzerland's Kiental valley.
The video shows the herd being counted, called together and guided across bridges and along a narrow mountain road.
They pass cows and a postal bus before reaching the valley, where they are loaded into livestock lorries bound for their winter farm near Aeschi.
The Luginbuhl family has bred llamas in Switzerland for 30 years and began raising alpacas in 2000. The herd is kept mainly for breeding and wool, while some are selected for meat.
The breeder says the alpacas have adapted well to the Swiss mountains, whose conditions resemble those in South America.
