Protests continued at French schools on Wednesday as students called for more resources and better learning conditions.
In Saint-Denis, around 50 students demonstrated outside Paul Eluard High School, where a fire was seen outside the school.
In Rennes, riot police intervened after students gathered at an underground station, while several schools were affected by vandalism, including damaged vehicles, burnt gates and a vandalised reception area.
Students also cited a lack of funding and problems with school timetables and facilities.
