People in Copenhagen have given mixed reactions to a new security deal signed by US President Donald Trump and the leaders of Denmark and Greenland on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.
Some Danes welcomed the agreement, saying closer cooperation with the US could help strengthen Arctic defence and ease tensions.
But others remain sceptical. “I don’t feel safe,” said psychotherapist Maj Mortensen, while software engineer Mads Johnson said cooperation with the US was important because the two countries remain allies.
