Carole Feuerman's hyperrealistic sculptures transform Chicago's Magnificent Mile into an open-air gallery, inviting visitors to interact with public art.

Video shows large-scale sculptures by American artist Carole A. Feuerman installed along Chicago's Magnificent Mile, transforming the public space into an open-air gallery.

The exhibition, titled 'Monuments of Stillness', features 12 sculptures created by Feuerman, a pioneer of the superrealist movement known for her detailed human figures. The artist says she wants her work to make art accessible to people who may not often visit museums.

Feuerman has spent more than five decades exploring the human body through sculpture. Her Chicago exhibition ends in November, bringing contemporary sculpture directly into the city streets.
