A Norwegian teenager who travelled to the UK to carry out a gangland killing has been sentenced to 20 years in detention.
Johannes Natland, 19, was arrested in a hotel room in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, in March 2025. Newly released police footage shows Natland's arrest at the Huddersfield hotel.
Police found two working guns and 19 rounds of live ammunition, a court previously heard.
During his retrial, jurors heard that Natland had been recruited by Sweden's Foxtrot Network, an organised crime group described in court as being backed by the Iranian regime.
Natland had admitted possessing the firearms and ammunition but was unanimously found guilty of conspiracy to murder. He was sentenced at Woolwich Crown Court, in London, on Friday.
The intended target has not been identified publicly.
