American toymanufacturer Mattel has created a tribute Barbie for Grammy-winning artist Miley Cyrus.
Cyrus's doll "celebrates the transformative sound and cultural footprint she has made as a musician, actress and advocate for self-expression," according to a press statement from Mattel.
The new Barbie has been meticulously designed by Javi Meabe to match Miley Cyrus as closely as possible in her 'Golden Burning Sun' music video.
The Alaïa-inspired outfit features faux-leather pants, a hooded jacket, black pumps and a microphone in hand.
"Barbie represents a personal dream of mine. She’s something I’ll never outgrow as she evolves with me," Cyrus wrote on Instagram.
Mattel has previously collaborated with other artists, such as Kylie Minogue, Mariah Carey, Stevie Nicks, Victoria Beckham, Ariana Grande and Tina Turner, to name just a few.
"I do many things, one of which I'm the most proud of is making music," said Cyrus. "And this, my Barbie, represents perfectly."
