The Portuguese artist has died at the age of 69 after a long illness.
Luís Represas died this Wednesday. The artist’s death was confirmed by the agency Sons em Trânsito, in a statement quoted by RTP. (source in Portuguese)
The singer is believed to have died after a long illness. According to the statement, the Portuguese musician, who this year was marking 50 years of his career, had planned “unforgettable moments with the band Trovante and, on his own, with hits that span generations”.
Rádio Renascença has also reported the news, saying it was confirmed by the singer’s agent.
